Fishermen off the coast of Aruba
When it comes to traditional fishing with nets, fishermen observe the movement of birds which indicates whether a school of small fish is approaching the coast. The school is typically followed by bigger, predatory fish. A diver watches and directs the position of the net with the help of a precise gestural code to catch these bigger fish.
